These Teddy Bears are being made to give to the GF Fire
Department. They give them to children as the need arises.
• 1/2 yard of fabric will make one bear. The fabric should
• be tightly woven—not homespun type.
• Sewing machine, neutral thread, and the usual basic
• sewing kit
• Rotary cutting mat & small rotary cutter (28mm works
• best, but bring your 45mm if you don't have a 28mm)
• Embroidery floss for eyes
• 1/2" to 1" wide ribbon - 18" long, per bear
• If you have extra polyester fiber fill, please bring
A few of us will cut, some will sew, others will embroider
eyes, and then the bears will be stuffed with fiber fill.
There will be some flannel fabric furnished to make additional
bears.
